Brenton S. Riggall is an attorney at Wiemer Law Group, LLC, where he focuses exclusively on family law. Brenton assists clients with a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, paternity, legal custody, physical placement, child support, and post-judgment issues.
Brenton’s career in family law began at Wiemer Law Group, where he worked as a paralegal before attending law school. In that role, he gained firsthand experience with every stage of the
family law process, from initial client intake through trial, while working closely with attorneys and clients. His experience as a paralegal gave him a strong understanding of the challenges
families face during difficult transitions and helped shape his commitment to providing thoughtful, practical, and compassionate representation.
Brenton earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School. During law school, he was an active member of the Child & Family Law Society and received the CALI Excellence for
the Future Award in Interviewing & Counseling. He also continued his work with Wiemer Law Group as a law clerk, allowing him to build on his experience and continue assisting the firm’s clients and their families.
Brenton is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), an interdisciplinary organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and families involved
in family conflict. Through his involvement with AFCC, Brenton values the importance of. collaboration among legal and other family-serving professionals, as well as continued
education, innovation, and consideration of the unique needs of each family. He believes that an effective family law practice requires more than addressing the legal issues alone and should,
when appropriate, help families navigate conflict in a way that supports their ability to make informed decisions and move forward.
Originally from Bendigo, Australia, Brenton has spent the majority of his adult life in Wisconsin. He earned his Bachelor of Education from La Trobe University in Australia, including two
semesters studying abroad at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse.
Outside of his legal practice, Brenton enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter, playing Australian Rules Football, and supporting the Milwaukee Admirals, Milwaukee Bucks,
and Green Bay Packers.
